Voyages to Singapore, Port Klang and Chennai

Passenger cruises aboard the Tiger Breeze (previously the City of London) are available from 14t March 2007.

The vessel sails from Singapore to Port Klang then on to Chennai, before returning to Singapore via Port Klang.

The round trip should last around 13 days. If you prefer, a one way trip to Chennai from Singapore, or Singapore from Chennai is available.

The vessel's Master and Senior Officers are either British or Russian with the remainder of the crew being Russian, including our very popular English speaking Russian stewardesses.

After embarking in Singapore, the vessel sails to Port Klang in Malaysia where the ship will finish loading her cargo, then on to Chennai (Madras).

Passengers will enjoy five relaxing days at sea before arrival for cargo work in Chennai. During the time spent alongside, passengers can experience the sights and sounds of one of the four metropolitan cities of modern India, that also has a rich history.

The vessel then returns to Singapore via Port Klang. This itinerary could be ideal for someone with a short amount of time available who wishes to holiday with a difference and experience a cargo ship cruise.

Facilities

All cabins are carpeted and equipped with wardrobe, TV/Video Monitor, refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities.  There is an outdoor swimming pool, basic gym and a recreation room.  The lounge and Dining Saloon are shared with the ship’s Officers.

Regrettably this vessel does not have a lift therefore all passengers will need to be able to negotiate the ships gangways, stairways, thresholds and heavy doors.

Visas and Vaccinations

All passengers travelling to India from the UK, USA, AUS, other EU countries require a visa if they wish to go ashore. 

Malaria exists in India therefore advice should be sought with regards to the best type of preventative tablets to take.

We strongly recommend all passengers to be are vaccinated in prevention of Cholera, Yellow Fever, and Polio.

Age Limit

The vessel does not carry a doctor, therefore we regret that no-one aged 80 years or over can be accepted as a passenger.
